Part of the Uniondale UFSD’s $158M Capital Improvements Program, the completion of Turtle Hook Middle School marks the 7th successful district project for the Triton-Elite construction management team. The ribbon cutting ceremony was well-attended by district leadership, community members and students, and the CM team, and granted public access to the new auxiliary gym with fresh lockers and classrooms, a 2nd floor classroom wing, expanded general-purpose room, renovated library media center, and an expanded music wing. Additionally, the community can enjoy the new tennis/pickleball courts and resurfaced track.
“The ribbon-cutting at Turtle Hook Middle School is the fulfilment of a promise the community made to our children. The state-of-the-art learning spaces will inspire our scholars to reach their highest potential. None of this would be possible without the skilled and strategic execution of the Triton-Elite Partnership. We are extremely grateful for their collaboration and commitment to creating excellent facilities for our children.” – Dr. Monique Darrisaw-Akil, Superintendent of Schools.
