Services provided under this Agreement include furnishing resident engineers, construction inspectors, scheduling services, cost estimating services, field survey services, claims analysis, Constructibility Reviews and Construction-Related engineering services.

Task Orders include: Replacement of Petroleum Bulk Storage Tanks and Construction of a Fueling Station at the Manhasset Road Maintenance Facility (Manhasset) + Mission 3 Inwood Bulkhead Restoration and Construction Management Support (Inwood).

Mission 3: The Elite Construction / KS Engineers Team has been retained by Nassau County Department of Public Works to provide construction management services for the Inwood Park Bulkhead Reconstruction Project. This project involves the replacement of 500 feet of bulkhead and the replacement of a concrete boat ramp.

Due to the condition of the severely deteriorated wooden bulkhead, with sinkholes in the embankment, it was determined that a complete replacement was necessary. In addition to the new bulkhead, the existing concrete boat ramp has been replaced with precast concrete panels. Other work includes replacing the existing floating docks with an ADA compliant floating dock “ramp” and kayak launch, replacing railing and park benches, and installing new ADA sidewalk ramps and overhead lighting.
