Comsewogue UFSD | District-wide Renovations, Repairs, & Upgrades
Entrusted to lead the first bond project in the last 30 years for the district, Elite was selected to perform Construction Management Services for six schools included in this capital project bond referendum, intended to provided safety, security and learning environment upgrades for the Comsewogue School District.
The scope of Phase 1 efforts included repairs, renovations and upgrades to classrooms, cafeteria kitchen upgrades, ceiling replacements, skylight replacements, lighting, bathrooms, sidewalk + parking lot improvements, ADA compliant upgrades, HVAC and mechanical systems, and door hardware replacements.
Elite’s scope of work consisted of tracking and management of project costs, scheduled activities, communications and other relevant data; monitoring construction activities; maintaining daily logs, submittal logs, and RFI logs. Elite also performed oversight of all mechanical system replacements; review of change orders; and coordination of construction work.
Phase 2, currently in progress, includes bathroom renovations and ADA compliance, replacement of windows, replacement of stage rigging, auditorium seating, sound system additions, replacement of ceilings and carpets, replacement of fencing, exterior lighting additions, retaining wall repairs, brickwork, roof replacement, electrical circuits and panel installations, repair and the replacement of asphalt, parking lots and sidewalks.
