Elite is honored to receive CMAA’s 2020 MWBE Managed Project of the Year! The fast-paced, new construction of the $25.7M Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center was part of a public-private-partnership with the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to build a new 12,000 sf facility comprised of exhibition halls, multi-purpose rooms and classrooms. The Net-Zero Center employs geothermal and solar photovoltaic systems, electric vehicle charging stations, plus a well-insulated building envelope, and serves to educate visitors on energy and water conservation through interactive hands-on-exhibits and programs highlighting Long Island’s ecosystems.
