Elite Construction of NY to Perform Construction Observation for TOH Green Infrastructure Project

Elite Construction Company of NY is performing Construction Observation services for the Town of Hempstead’s Meadowbrook Corridor Green Infrastructure Project. A subconsultant to Cameron Engineering, Elite is assisting in stormwater management improvements which include the addition of numerous bioswales that will direct accumulating water through curb cut-outs to absorbing plant beds. These “rain gardens” are not just practical, but also serve to further beautify the town streets.

The bioretention systems also include porous asphalt, which will help mitigate gathering rainwater at dead ends and roadways, protecting surrounding properties and making travel on wet roads safer.
