Slated for a December 2022 completion, Elite Construction Company of NY is delivering Construction Management services to restore and improve the outlet conditions for the Hempstead Lake Dam at Hempstead Lake State Park. Constructed in 1873, the rehabilitation includes the Hempstead Lake Dam & South Pond Inlet Gatehouses and the existing 850 foot brick pipe arch conduit that connects them underground. Anti-graffiti coatings to all exterior surfaces will aid in the historical preservation of its beautiful masonry.

Scope includes the partial demolition of the South Pond Outlet Gatehouse, which is no longer functional. Project contributors include LKB Consulting Engineers (AOR, civil & structural), EnTech Engineering (site safety management) and Ardurra Group (GOSR Elations support).
