Addition & Renovations to Support Enrollment Increase at California Avenue Elementary School

Due to increased enrollment in the Uniondale School District, the partnership of Triton Construction and Elite Construction Company of NY is providing construction management services for the district-wide improvements program. As part of this assignment, Elite is managing the 28,345 SF, two-story addition that includes nine classrooms, nine special instruction and conference rooms, gymnasium wing and parking area reconstruction to add 42 spaces. Renovations to the existing building consist of new HVAC to the multipurpose room, repairs to the roof and boiler, upgrades to the electrical, data, gas lines and meters, as well as bathroom updates for ADA compliance.
